Bhutan: The Last Shangri-La

A small Himalayan kingdom nestled between India and China, is often called the "Last Shangri-La" due to its pristine landscapes, deep-rooted traditions, and unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness (GNH). This tiny nation, with its rich culture and breathtaking natural beauty, offers a perfect blend of spirituality, adventure, and serenity. Unlike most countries that measure progress by GDP, Bhutan follows the philosophy of Gross National Happiness (GNH), which prioritizes well-being over material wealth. This unique approach focuses on sustainable development, cultural preservation, environmental conservation, and good governance.
